LOVE, CAROLINE

I am so excited that you are interested in choosing me to document your wedding! I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.

I have been photographing weddings since 2012 and every year I fall more and more in love with capturing my couple's love stories. When I'm not photographing weddings, I love working on our new house, running, reading, spending time with my husband and two daughters, and being by the water or in the mountains as much as possible. I'm so thankful for a career that allows me to do what I love, work with amazing couples, and travel to beautiful locations all over New England!

GET TO KNOW THE PHOTOGRAPHER

welcome

"Just WOW! Caroline did such an incredible job capturing the happiness and intimacy of our small and special backyard wedding ceremony. She has the kind of talent that cannot be taught. If you're considering working with Caroline, stop considering and just do it! You absolutely won't regret it."

"we can't imagine anyone more perfect"

kind words

“We will be forever grateful for Caroline; she a wonderful job highlighting all of the most important parts of our most special day. Our wedding photos turned out picture perfect and I cannot stress how talented she is! Caroline made us feel so comfortable, knew exactly how to pose us naturally. It was like we were hanging out with an old friend!

"Picture
perfect"

kind words

After photographing hundreds of weddings over the last nine years, I’ve found that I'm not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how you got engaged.

We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with me and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

LET's CONNECT

I'm here as a resource beyond photography—whether you're looking for engagement session outfit recommendations, timeline advice, or vendor referrals.

Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. I've photographed tons of weddings and planning my own wedding in 2018—I truly love this stuff  and I'm happy to share everything I've learned along the way!

Wedding Advice

I love engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they're a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better, talk wedding details and hang out before the big day.

Leading up to your session, I'll share my best tips for what to wear, my favorite locations, the pros and cons of photographing in each season in New England and more! During the session, you'll learn all about how to pose to look and feel your best, what to do with your hands, and hopefully have a lot of fun too!

Engagement Session

I check in and send you a detailed questionnaire about four months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else I should know about your big day.

While I normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions during the planning process!

Wedding Day Prep

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends.

I know being a wedding photographer is so much more than taking pretty pictures. My goal on the wedding day is to be a calming presence and friend for you both. I will keep us running on time, while also being flexible and allowing you to let go of the plans to fully enjoy your day. I'm so excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome!

The Big Day

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about 4-6 weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

My hope is that our relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I love following my couples on Instagram, hearing about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, I'd love to document your growing family!

THE COLLECTIONS

MORE DETAILS

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on coffee tables.

All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include two rounds of revision. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day.

ALBUMS

All collections include a complimentary weekday engagement session in the Boston area. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how I pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.

Sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, I’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Engagement Sessions

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 33% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a proposal yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balances will be due 7 months and 30 days before the wedding.

We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?

Galleries typically include 75-100 photos per shooting hour, or about 800 images for an 8 hour wedding day. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print on your own or directly through me.

How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?

I typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius from our home in Boston, Massachusetts. Fees vary depending on location so ask me for more details.

When do you charge travel fees?
